There is an atmosphere of tension between India and China on LAC these days. Talks between the two countries are going on from the military level to the political level. At the same time, now the Chinese Ambassador said that if the two sides continue to hold on to the agreement between Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar, then the current problems can be resolved. The foreign ministers of India and China had about two and a half hours of talks in Moscow on Thursday amid tension over the LAC. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Moscow to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (CSO) Foreign Ministers’ Conference. Sources in the Ministry of External Affairs said that during the talks Jaishankar strongly put forward India’s view that bilateral relations cannot be strengthened without peace and peace on LAC. This was the first meeting between Jaishankar and Wang Yi after the Chinese troops encroached the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in May 2020. No statement was issued by the two sides until late at night about the meeting in Moscow. This indicates that there was no positive conclusion to the conversation. Last week, the defense ministers of the two countries also held talks in Moscow under the same circumstances and they were also officially informed after a long time.
